Cookie Policy

Last updated: 16 April 2026

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies Keibase uses on this site, why we use them, and how you can control them.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site recognise you across pages and remember preferences or session information.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled.

  • Session cookies (portal login only) — keep you signed into the client portal. Set by better-auth, HttpOnly and Secure.
  • Cookie-consent cookie — stores whether you have accepted or declined non-essential cookies.

Analytics / marketing cookies

We do not currently use any. No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no advertising trackers. If we add any, this page and the cookie banner will be updated before they are activated, and we will request your consent.

3. Third-party services

We use Cloudflare in front of the site for DNS and security. Cloudflare may set short-lived security cookies (e.g. __cf_bm) to block bots — these are strictly necessary and not used for tracking.

4. Managing cookies

You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time by clearing the keibase_cookie_consent entry from your browser's site storage for keibase.com. The banner will re-appear on your next visit.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the portal login.

5. More information

See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle personal data more broadly.
